↑For my Senior Portfolio class, I developed a makeup brand from the ground up called Velvet Ink. The brand targets women ages 21 to 30 who are creative, expressive, and drawn to nightlife, music, and club culture. Velvet Ink encourages users to move away from the “clean girl” aesthetic and embrace bold, experimental makeup looks. The tagline, “for girls who aren’t afraid to ink outside the lines,” reflects the brand’s mission to make makeup fun and creative again. The visual identity centers on bold, organic swirls, creating a dynamic and expressive aesthetic. I designed the full brand system, including the logo, eyeshadow packaging, brush packaging, eyeliner packaging, a thank-you card, and a promotional flyer. This project allowed me to explore branding at a deeper level, ensuring consistency across multiple touchpoints while building a strong and cohesive visual identity.
