In my Typography I class, we were tasked with creating an Instagram ad for any company or product. I designed a fictional holiday campaign for Bath & Body Works, featuring imagined collaborations with Lana Del Rey and Charli XCX. The campaign promoted two scents: Perfect in Pink, represented by Lana, and Platinum, represented by Charli.

I paired each artist with a fragrance that aligned with her personal aesthetic. Lana’s romantic, coquette image and her association with cherry motifs made her a perfect fit for Perfect in Pink. Charli’s bold, futuristic pop persona was ideal for Platinum. The ad features Christmas elements like snowflakes and trees, aligning with the seasonal release of the fragrances. I also integrated Lana’s lyrics and Charli’s Brat album branding to deepen the connection between the artists and the products.

I used InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to create the ad. As this was my first graphic design class, I faced some challenges with typography and layout grids, but it ultimately helped me build a strong foundation in type and composition.
