Coca-Cola Scholar Poster

I created this poster for the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship Program, which I am a part of at Kennesaw State University. The goal was to design a visual that could be used in the program’s weekly newsletter throughout the school year.

The concept combines school spirit with brand identity. I illustrated a

high-quality vector of a Coke can using Illustrator, starting with a gradient mesh and adding custom shading, typography, and the Coca-Cola logo. I then brought the can into Photoshop, where I placed it into a real scene featuring an owl, the KSU mascot, carrying the can mid-flight. I edited the lighting of the photo, gave the owl red eyes to echo Coca-Cola’s brand color, and added a paper texture and shading to the can to make it appear crushed.

This project allowed me to blend technical vector work with creative photo editing. One of the biggest challenges was making the crushed can look realistic within the composition, but it pushed me to refine my Photoshop techniques.
