Created for my Publication Design class, Raw Reflection is a self-curated magazine showcasing my portfolio of Prismacolor artworks. The goal was to design a print-ready piece that could be produced at Heidelberg North America. I aimed to give the magazine an expressive and dramatic tone, using black backgrounds to mirror the mood and setting of my illustrations.
The cover features a photo of myself, establishing the personal and introspective nature of the content inside. I used InDesign as the primary tool for layout, along with Photoshop and Illustrator for supporting visuals and design elements. A key learning moment in this project was working with spot colors to prepare the file for professional printing.
